Overview
The Project Management Support Officer provides operational, analytical, and administrative support for effective project planning, implementation, and monitoring. This role focuses on supporting actions related to social participation and non-structural measures within a risk reduction project.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, structure, and validate project data.
- Maintain databases, dashboards, and information management systems.
- Support the preparation of analytical reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Participate in the development of the project’s work plan.
- Collaborate in the implementation of project activities with partners.
- Participate in meetings to coordinate the project with partners.
- Conduct technical visits to selected municipalities.
- Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations.
- Participate in the development of terms of reference and technical specifications.
- Collaborate in monitoring the procurement of project services.
- Review deliverables from consultants and service providers.
- Collaborate in monitoring contract maintenance processes.
Required Experience
- Demonstrable proficiency in the use of collaboration and productivity tools (e.g. MS Office, G-Suite, etc) and web-based management systems.
- At least two years of experience in developing social mapping tools, working in urban peripheries, participatory planning workshops, mobilization and social communication, and participatory tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Ministry of Cities’ methodology for developing Municipal Risk Reduction Plans is desirable.
- Experience in risk mapping and management is a plus.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in the exact sciences, social sciences, or a related field is required.
- A master’s degree in the fields mentioned will be considered a plus.
