Overview
Support the development, planning, and management of child protection programmes and projects with a focus on justice and human rights sectors. Provide technical and operational support for specific projects, including legal aid and adolescent development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and update situation analysis for child protection programmes.
- Research and report on development trends and data impacting child protection.
- Contribute to programme goals, objectives, strategies, and results-based planning.
- Provide technical and operational support for projects with a justice component.
- Work collaboratively with government and partners to address implementation issues.
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation exercises and programme reviews.
- Monitor and report on the use of sectoral programme resources.
- Prepare regular sectoral programme/project reports.
- Conduct field visits to assess progress and provide technical support.
- Build and sustain partnerships with government counterparts and national stakeholders.
- Research potential donors and prepare resource mobilization materials.
- Draft communication and information materials for programme advocacy.
- Identify, capture, synthesize, and share lessons learned.
- Apply innovative approaches and promote good practices.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in International Development, human rights, sociology, psychology, international law, justice for children and any other related fields.
Qualifications
Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in International Development, Psychology, Sociology, human rights, international law, social science and any other related fields.
