Overview
The M&E Officer will ensure operational accountability and learning for the McGovern-Dole School Meals programme through daily monitoring, reporting, and supporting evaluation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment of M&E activities with program goals and lead targeting for annual work plans.
- Lead the MGD M&E team by providing regular supervision and capacity building.
- Provide technical leadership, capacity building and support to M&E staff.
- Analyze project data monthly and present findings with course correction suggestions.
- Conduct field visits for oversight and monitor data quality.
- Capture and document lessons learned and champion advocacy for best practices.
- Oversee the MGD M&E budget planning and expenditure progress.
- Coordinate all evaluations, studies, and special project assessments.
- Coordinate and support McGovern-Dole implementation.
- Contribute to timely and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate with cooperating partners to ensure Literacy and WASH interventions are on track.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure effective collaboration.
- Support the development and updating of SOPs, tools, and training materials.
- Coordinate community mobilization efforts.
- Conduct regular field visits to provide technical support.
- Support all inputs on written reports and presentations of the program.
- Gather inputs on key narrative reports to be submitted to USDA.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate professional or managerial experience.
- Experience of leading M&E teams for UN agency, NGO or within a government department.
- Previous experience of working for UN or other international agency in Pakistan is desirable.
- Experience using a variety of quantitative and qualitative analytical tools and methods.
Qualifications
Advanced University degree in social sciences, statistics, development economics, performance management, monitoring and evaluation or other related fields, or First University degree with additional 2 years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
