Overview
Support the Ministry of Health in developing a high-quality, evidence-based, and fully costed National Immunization Strategy (SNV) 2027–2030.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder consultations and document review
- Analyse programme performance and identify bottlenecks
- Facilitate national and technical workshops
- Configure and populate the NIS.COST tool
- Conduct costing and financial modelling
- Support policy dialogue and prioritization
- Draft and finalize the SNV document
- Support validation and endorsement processes
Required Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in immunization or public health programmes
- International experience is required
- Proven experience in strategic planning and policy development
- Demonstrated experience with costing tools (NIS.COST, One Health Tool or similar)
- Experience in low- and middle-income countries
- Very Good Experience in the Horn of Africa
- Extensive Familiarity with Djibouti context
- Very Good Experience with Gavi transition processes
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Public Health, Health Economics, Health Policy, or related field.
