Overview
Local Consultant to develop advanced-level training materials for the Migration and Citizenship Service (MCS) staff in Armenia, building upon existing basic training and Moodle-based learning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze existing training materials, SoPs, and legal framework.
- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to identify training needs.
- Develop advanced-level training curricula and course materials.
- Adapt training materials for the Moodle learning management system.
- Develop assessment tools for advanced training modules.
- Present draft materials for review and integrate feedback.
- Develop curricula for "training of trainers (ToT)".
- Deliver ToT on teaching methods.
- Monitor and evaluate the application of methodologies.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of proven experience in skills training, teaching methods, or educational methods.
- Previous experience in design, supervision, and implementation of training curriculum.
- Proven trainer with 3-5 years of experience in conducting TOT and curriculum development.
- Experience working with public administration, academia, local authorities, and organizations on migration management or related issues.
- Experience in developing online learning content and training materials for Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Moodle, is considered an asset.
- Experience in working with international organizations and UN agencies will be considered an advantage.
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree in the relevant field.
