Overview
Internship opportunity supporting the Humanitarian Disarmament & Peacebuilding (HDP) team with data management, program activities, and internal cooperation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with data and information management, including collecting, analyzing, and sharing operational outputs and outcomes.
- Develop visual materials of program data and outputs for reporting and communications.
- Support the development and implementation of peacebuilding program activities.
- Contribute to the identification, consolidation, and sharing of HDP case studies.
- Help strengthen internal cooperation within DRC.
- Contribute to a wide range of ad hoc tasks, depending on operational needs.
Required Experience
- Practical exposure during studies in policy writing and research methods.
- Motivation to work with colleagues from different walks of life, mostly working in post-conflict settings and countries affected by conflicts and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Master studies in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science, Development Studies, Human Rights, Sociology, Anthropology, Law or other relevant study areas.
- Effective use of Office 365 tools, with confidence in Excel and familiarity with SharePoint for file management and document organization.
- Strong ability to synthesize information clearly and accurately, and to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- It is a requirement that you are enrolled in a university during the whole duration of the internship period.
