Overview
The consultant is expected to strengthen the Digital Impact ecosystem through effective implementation of digital skills, upskilling, innovation, and digital employment initiatives. This role will involve programme documentation, partnership development, and enhanced monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the design, implementation, and monitoring of Digital Impact programmes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure programme alignment with Agency goals.
- Ensure effective operationalization of DITID Digital Impact strategies.
- Support the development and strengthening of Digital Hubs and digital upskilling initiatives.
- Support the establishment, management, and strengthening of partnerships.
- Engage with local, regional, and global partners to support digital ecosystem development.
- Contribute technical inputs to donor proposals and resource mobilization efforts.
- Develop and enhance inclusive digital skilling and upskilling pathways.
- Support initiatives promoting digital freelancing, remote work, entrepreneurship, and innovation-driven employment.
- Identify emerging digital technologies and labour market trends.
- Integrate innovation methodologies into programme design and delivery.
- Develop and maintain monitoring frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Analyze data and prepare progress reports and analytical summaries.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
- Provide evidence-based inputs for internal learning and external reporting.
- Support staff, consultants, and volunteers.
- Coordinate with trainers, mentors, and implementing partners.
- Foster collaboration across teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience for a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years for a master’s degree of progressively responsible experience in digital innovation, digital skills development, technology for development (T4D), digital livelihoods, youth empowerment, or related areas.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing digital skilling, upskilling, innovation, or digital employment programmes.
- Proven track record in establishing and managing partnerships with private sector entities, academia, and development organizations.
- Experience in curriculum development, training design, monitoring and evaluation, or digital employment facilitation is an asset.
Qualifications
University degree from accredited educational institution in digital innovation, information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, development studies or other related discipline.
