Overview
The Technical Analyst will provide technical advisory services, quality assurance for knowledge products, and support for project activity implementation within the Climate Adaptation and Sustainable Management of Natural Ecosystems Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-quality technical advisory services.
- Substantive review and quality assurance of knowledge products and deliverables.
- Support effective implementation of project activities.
- Strengthen strategic linkages, partnerships, and sustainability.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in research and analysis in climate finance, sustainability, capital markets, financial risk management, corporate finance, investment banking, or financial planning.
- Experience in preparing high-quality policy briefs and guidance notes.
- Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Finance or Business Administration or other related fields is required. Or
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
