Overview
The Programme Management Intern will support the Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAST) Initiative by assisting in programme management, event coordination, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. This role contributes to projects addressing modern slavery and trafficking through innovative financing mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day programme coordination, planning, and implementation.
- Assist in tracking deliverables, deadlines, and follow-up with stakeholders.
- Support the preparation, review, and organization of programme documents, briefs, and presentations.
- Maintain updated programme records, contact lists, calendars, and filing systems.
- Assist with logistical, administrative, and operational arrangements for programme activities.
- Support the organization of consultations, roundtables, meetings, and events.
- Help monitor implementation progress and support timely follow-up.
- Conduct background research and desk reviews for knowledge products.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and synthesizing information.
- Support the documentation of key insights and recommendations.
- Assist in drafting event debriefs, outcome reports, and communication materials.
- Support the development, organization, and maintenance of knowledge repositories.
- Support knowledge-sharing across internal platforms.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Intranet pages, Teams channels, and SharePoint folders.
- Help ensure knowledge products and resources are clearly organized and accessible.
- Support communications planning and content development.
- Support implementation of FAST workplan through document preparation and process management.
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to staff meetings and progress reports.
Required Experience
- Experience in data analysis, demonstrated through university coursework is desired.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in organizational management or project management, preferably within international organizations or similar settings is highly desired.
- A Minimum of 1 year of experience in programme management and knowledge management, preferably in sustainable finance or sustainable development through either academic coursework/research and/or professional experience is highly desired.
- Experience with multilateral organizations or bilateral donor agencies is desired.
- Knowledge of and/or familiarity in Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking through coursework and/or professional experience is an asset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Field of study required: international development, international relations, finance, economics, political affairs, sustainable finance, or any related field.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher), OR enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’ degree or equivalent), OR have recently graduated with a university degree and start the internship within one-year of graduation, OR be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program.
