Overview
The role supports the software development of the School Meals Coalition Database, focusing on front-end and data visualization to improve data availability, accessibility, and use for national school meal programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data integration initiatives, processing, dashboards, analysis and visualizations.
- Deploy and maintain the SMC Database and underlying data layers.
- Support infrastructure maintenance activities as needed.
- Contribute to the harmonization of tools and development patterns following the direction of the Solution Architect, including code maintenance in version control, system management through automation, and deployment strategies.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Further develop the current back-end and front-end on the SMC Global Database proposing improvements to existing user-interface.
- Further contribute to the creation of a database infrastructure including its maintenance and improvements in terms of data security in line with best practices.
- Conduct data analysis.
Required Experience
At least 4 years of experience in IT related field with a focus on React, Python, and AWS.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or similar. Master’s degree preferred.
