Overview
The AI Solutions Developer will support the Innovation and Digital Team's technical artificial intelligence (AI) workstream, contributing to technical reviews, prototype development, and light engineering tasks for AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical reviews of AI solutions and proofs-of-concept.
- Support the development of simple AI prototypes, scripts, and automation tools.
- Assist with light engineering tasks for existing team products.
- Contribute to technical sections of project documents.
- Assist in preparing technical training materials, demos, and live sessions.
- Participate in technical exchanges with partner Country Offices.
- Contribute to UNDP’s regional Future of Work Academy.
- Support the team's internal AI adoption efforts.
- Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor.
- Lead volunteer action in AI and crosscutting topics by encouraging ownership of Country Offices.
Required Experience

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field. Senior-year students may also be considered.
