Overview
The role involves daily media monitoring of geopolitical, security, and safety developments from open-media sources in the South Caucasus and Central Asia to support the United Nations Security Management System process.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce daily media monitoring reports focusing on the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
- Submit reports by 12 PM GMT+3 from Monday to Friday.
- Ensure reports cover significant geopolitical events, security incidents, and safety-related news.
- Participate in a weekly online meeting with the supervisor.
- Utilize local open-media sources, including newspapers, online articles, and other publications in local languages.
- Ensure information is accurate, reliable, and sourced from credible outlets.
Required Experience
- Prior experience in reporting.
- Familiarity with the geopolitical landscape, culture, and current events of the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
