Overview

Provide technical support to the Ministry of Health and UNICEF in strengthening the national cold chain and immunization supply chain system. The consultant will support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and monitoring of cold chain equipment, build technical capacity, and ensure effective implementation of the Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) improvement plan.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and cold chain strengthening.
  • Conduct capacity building.
  • Support vaccine logistics and EVM improvement.
  • Strengthen integrated PHC infrastructure, solarization & PSA oxygen systems.
Required Experience
  • At least five years of relevant and proven experience in immunization supply chain strengthening, including the installation and maintenance of solar refrigerators and provision of technical support for other primary health care (PHC) infrastructure.
  • Ability to produce technically sound, well-written reports in English.
  • Experience with Liberian populations or similar development/programming context would be an asset.
  • Prior experience with UN and other international organizations and exposure to UNICEF’s work.
Qualifications

University degree (at least Bachelor Degree) in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Health, Public Health, or a field relevant to technical assistance in immunization Supply Chain and Logistics (iSCL).
