Overview

The consultant will adapt, deliver, and reinforce capacity-building activities for women entrepreneurs in Jordan, focusing on mindset, communication, goal setting, strategic planning, negotiation, and pitching skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate training sessions and Motivation Lab coaching activities.
  • Deliver one-day training workshops on soft skills.
  • Support the organization and delivery of networking events.
  • Prepare outreach materials and adapt training content.
  • Translate materials into Arabic and/or review Arabic translations.
  • Administer pre- and post-assessment tools and collect participant feedback.
  • Prepare final training reports including summary of participant feedback, key successes, challenges, risks, recommendations, and lessons learned.
  • Submit supporting documentation including attendance sheets, agendas, and finalized training materials.
Required Experience
  • Extensive professional experience in a relevant field may be considered in place of formal educational requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years in training and coaching on topics such as leadership, emotional intelligence, business fields like sales, negotiation, or related fields.
  • Previous background in training, mentoring, and coaching adults, especially women.
  • Experience in applying adult learning principles and participatory workshop facilitation and coaching.
  • Previous work on gender-inclusive initiatives.
  • Experience working in trade and business-related contexts, preferably in the digital sector is a plus.
  • Previous experience in working on trade and gender is desirable.
  • Employed or has strong engagement in women's chamber of commerce or other Women Business Association with strong networking skills and outreach capacity is desirable.
  • Previous experience producing communication materials focused on trade and development is highly desirable.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Education, Business, Communications, Gender Studies, Psychology, International Development, or Trade.

• Fluency in English (good written and verbal communication skills).
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of Arabic or any local languages an asset.
