Overview
Provide programmatic, administrative, and communication support to the AMEP Sub-Programme and the Water Quality Capacity Development Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide substantive support to communications, advocacy, and outreach initiatives.
- Draft, edit, and publish digital content for website and social media.
- Support the creation and dissemination of social media content.
- Coordinate to collect communications materials and multimedia content.
- Design and format promotional and informational materials.
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring programme of work and project activities.
- Monitor status of project proposals, workplans, agreements, and budgets.
- Review project and contractual documents for completeness and compliance.
- Identify inconsistencies or missing information in project documentation.
- Review and distribute approved technical documents and project reports.
- Support preparation and updating of internal and donor reports.
- Collect, research, compile, and maintain data related to project implementation.
- Review narrative and technical reports submitted by Implementing Partners.
- Assist in organizing project knowledge products, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Provide general office support, responding to information requests and handling correspondence.
- Support the organization of meetings, workshops, and training events.
- Perform other relevant duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive work experience in administration and programme or project management or related area is required.
- Proven work experience in social media management and communications is highly desirable.
- Experience working with an international organization is required.
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or related administrative systems is desirable.
- Experience working with environmental programmes and projects in the Wider Caribbean Region is desirable.
Qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Supplementary training in Administration and Programme or Project Management or Communications is desirable.
