Overview

Provide coordination support to ensure effective project implementation for the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Rwanda. The role focuses on supporting the VIBE programme, which aims to increase dignified employment, particularly among excluded groups.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participates in the implementation and evaluation of assigned projects.
  • Monitors and analyzes project implementation, identifying problems and proposing corrective actions.
  • Performs consulting assignments, planning and facilitating workshops.
  • Researches, analyzes and presents information from diverse sources.
  • Assists in policy review and development.
  • Undertakes survey initiatives, designs data collection tools, and analyzes responses.
  • Prepares written outputs such as draft background papers, analysis, and reports.
  • Provides substantive support to meetings and conferences.
  • Undertakes mobilization and outreach activities, conducts training workshops, and makes presentations.
  • Participates in or leads field missions and drafts mission summaries.
  • Coordinates activities related to budget and funding, preparing related documents and reports.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Required Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required. Experience of working on women’s economic empowerment and market-access activities in Rwanda is an advantage.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with additional two (2) years qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Fluency in English (both oral and written) and Kinyarwanda is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.
Contract Duration
