Overview
This internship supports the United Nations Road Safety Fund (UNRSF) Secretariat in Geneva, contributing to the Call for Proposals process, outreach communications, event support, and project management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Call for Proposals process and related activities, including screening of proposals, proposal submission databases, compiling information for the Call for Proposals report, and other relevant tasks;
- Draft social media and website posts, articles, briefing notes and other outreach communications to help raise visibility of the global road safety crisis;
- Support the events, campaigns, projects and activities planned of the UNRSF, including drafting agenda and concise meeting minutes;
- Supporting in project management activities, including results monitoring, project closing or extending processes;
- Performing other duties as requested.
Required Experience
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
- Be computer literate in standard software applications;
- Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter.
