Overview

This role coordinates the delivery and rollout of AI solutions, manages stakeholder communications, and ensures the successful adoption of AI technologies across the organization to enhance operational efficiency and impact.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the rollout of AI products to field offices and HQ, developing rollout plans and coordinating with local IT focal points.
  • Drive AI adoption through hands-on engagement, ensuring solutions deliver measurable efficiency gains.
  • Work directly with teams to document manual workflows and translate operational pain points into actionable AI use cases.
  • Conduct field assessments evaluating data availability, infrastructure, and staff digital literacy.
  • Ensure all field rollouts comply with established AI ethics and data privacy frameworks.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for business stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring alignment.
  • Coordinate engagement with UN agencies and inter-agency working groups; prepare briefing materials, position papers, and progress reports.
  • Draft and publish success stories, case studies, newsletters, and progress briefs.
  • Coordinate activities across the AI CoE to ensure integration across functions, regions, and practice units.
  • Guide each AI initiative through the assurance and approval processes.
  • Serve as the primary operational bridge between Core Systems Engineering (CSE) and end users.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and approaches for relevance to field rollouts.
  • Manage active rollouts and implementations, tracking status, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the impact and ROI of AI initiatives.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and lead reviews to evaluate AI project success.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, and onboarding materials.
  • Establish post-deployment feedback loops with field offices.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for field offices.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination, technology rollout, or programme support within complex, multi-stakeholder environments (with a Master's degree) OR 7 years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in change management, technology adoption, or user enablement.
  • Demonstrated experience working with AI models, tools, or platforms, with demonstrated knowledge of the current AI landscape and emerging trends.
  • Experience coordinating across distributed teams or offices.
  • Experience supporting the adoption or implementation of technology solutions, digital tools, or data-driven initiatives.
  • Experience delivering training, workshops, or capacity-building activities for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience mapping existing workflows or business processes and translating them into requirements for new solutions or ways of working.
  • Experience defining KPIs, tracking adoption metrics, or maintaining reporting dashboards.
  • Experience working within the UN system or a similar international organisation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in any of the above or related fields.
