Overview
Seeking 140 Online Volunteers to engage with Agenda 2063 within their respective Power Spaces through a 7-week traineeship designed to move participants from awareness to structured contribution, execution, and long-term stewardship for the Africa We Want.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Agenda 2063 within respective Power Spaces through a 7-week traineeship.
- Reflect on role in shaping Africa’s future across decades leading to 2063.
- Identify values and routines to sustain contribution.
- Position within Agenda 2063 as active builders of the Africa We Want.
- Produce a “Letter from the Future,” dated 30 January 2063, reflecting on realized Africa, choices made, routines established, and contribution to delivering Agenda 2063.
Required Experience
- Strong interest in Africa’s development, Agenda 2063, youth engagement, leadership, innovation, or community transformation
- Ability to participate actively in structured online learning and collaborative engagement processes
- Ability to reflect critically and contribute thoughtfully to discussions, exercises, and group activities
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse and multicultural teams
- Commitment to completing weekly activities and participating consistently throughout the 7-week traineeship
Experience or interest in one or more of the following is an added advantage:
- Community engagement and mobilization
- Leadership and youth initiatives
- Research, advocacy, or communications
- Civil society or volunteer engagement
- Creative industries and storytelling
