The consultant will design, organize, and technically support capacity-building activities for criminal justice, law enforcement, and policy stakeholders on cybercrime, online violence, OCSE, CSAM, and VAW&G. The role involves developing gender-sensitive training materials and facilitating specialized trainings, roundtables, workshops, and mock trial exercises.
A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible work experience in the field of law, drafting laws and regulations related to cybercrime and/or cybersecurity and/or data privacy at national level is required. Practical professional experience in providing technical assistance and delivering training is desirable. Work experience with governmental institutions in the field of crime prevention in general and enhancing measures to prevent and counter cybercrime in particular is desirable. Work experience within the United Nations system is desirable.
An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in law, Criminology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. A first level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
