Overview
This internship supports the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Programme Office in the Philippines with communication, reporting, administration, and coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting professional communications, including letters, newsletters, and Concept Notes.
- Develop formal correspondence such as invitations and endorsements.
- Maintain organized records of communication.
- Design and layout informative communication material and flyers.
- Prepare concept notes outlining objectives and implementation details.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate project implementation.
- Provide summaries or reports documenting coordination efforts.
- Contribute to the development and editing of project documentation and reports.
- Participate in team meetings and follow up on action items.
- Assist in planning and logistical arrangements for events and meetings.
- Maintain records of participation and prepare attendance sheets.
- Support project coordination by facilitating collaboration and information flow.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); OR be enrolled in, or have recently completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Be computer literate in standard software applications and familiar with visual materials using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or other design platforms.
- Have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
