Overview

Support the Country Office in the implementation and operation of school meal and Asset Creation and Livelihoods (ACL) programmes in Myanmar, focusing on resource management, donor relations, fundraising, and programme design.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and operational support for school meal and ACL programmes.
  • Monitor and analyze programme performance, including fund utilization and beneficiary reach.
  • Strengthen capacity of Area Office teams in managing Field Level Agreements.
  • Provide guidance on new approaches within school meal and ACL programmes.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting of operational bottlenecks.
  • Design and maintain a tracking mechanism for planned versus actual achievements.
  • Support the production of briefs, dashboards, and situation reports.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
  • Act as WFP focal point for strengthening partnerships with Japanese entities.
  • Support mapping, analysis, and expansion of partnership opportunities.
  • Contribute to resource mobilization efforts by identifying funding opportunities and preparing proposals.
  • Provide programme data and analysis for donor communications.
  • Support strategic planning and visualization of WFP Myanmar’s programme portfolio.
  • Contribute to internal processes for improving programme coherence and integration.
Required Experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Exposure to the international environment either by direct work for an international institution/organization or by interacting with international stakeholders.
  • Field of experiences in managing humanitarian and development projects in developing country contexts.
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including NGOs, UN agencies, and development partners.
  • Engaging closely with local communities, including schoolteachers, caregivers, and community representatives.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Economics, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or other field relevant to international development assistance.
