Overview
Responsible for day-to-day construction/maintenance project site activities, supervising contractors, and ensuring adherence to contract documents, quality, health, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contractors on site, ensuring compliance with contract documents, quality, health, and safety requirements.
- Monitor material and workmanship quality, ensuring compliance with specifications and conducting necessary tests.
- Evaluate and agree on executed work quantities with contractors, verifying interim and final payments.
- Assure correctness of site levelling and surveying, checking utility locations and resolving technical difficulties.
- Check and record drawings, actual levels, strata details, and deviations from drawings.
- Prepare and discuss Variation Orders, Extension of Time, and other contract changes with supervisor.
- Maintain records in Facilities Management Information System (FMIS), prepare progress reports, and provide recommendations.
- Examine and approve contractor methods for safe and satisfactory execution of works.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Required Experience
At least three years’ experience on site supervision of construction/maintenance/infrastructure projects is required.
Qualifications
University degree in civil engineering from an accredited university/ institution.
