Overview
The consultant will support the awareness and use of child protection mechanisms within school environments, ensuring children and adolescents can report concerns safely and cases are appropriately referred.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement training programmes for school communities.
- Support the establishment and functioning of child protection structures within schools.
- Operationalize reporting and referral mechanisms at school level.
- Adapt, test and support the dissemination of tools and materials.
- Monitor implementation, identify challenges, and propose practical solutions.
Required Experience
A minimum five (5) years in Child Protection, Child Development, or related fields. Proven experience in incorporating child protection principles into educational programs is a plus. Experience in training facilitation, Strong knowledge of local systems, Experience in community-based work, Strong coordination and communication skills.
Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent in Education, Social Work, Child Protection or another relevant technical field.
