Overview

This internship supports UNICEF’s work in Social and Behavior Change (SBC), focusing on understanding and shifting behaviors, attitudes, and social norms to advance girls’ empowerment. The role assists in designing, coordinating, and documenting initiatives to improve outcomes for adolescent girls.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting knowledge and content development by assisting in the preparation and review of briefing notes, presentations, concept notes, and other materials related to girls’ empowerment.
  • Contributing to monitoring and reporting by organizing programme data, drafting summaries, and documenting key insights and lessons learned.
  • Facilitating coordination and collaboration by supporting communication and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Providing administrative and logistical support to the Girls’ Empowerment Unit.
Required Experience

Strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.

Qualifications

Enrolment in a degree programme in an undergraduate or graduate school, or recent graduation (< 2 years).

Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in at least one of UNICEF’s working languages: English, French or Spanish.
