Overview
Develop, pilot, and operationalize an integrated maintenance approach for health technologies at the primary health care level. The role aims to improve equipment functionality, enhance service continuity, and contribute to more resilient health systems.
Key Responsibilities
- - Develop, pilot, and operationalize an integrated maintenance approach.
- - Conduct pilot country implementation, baseline assessments, and operational model development.
- - Strengthen capacity and generate evidence-based approaches.
- - Document lessons learned and develop scalable and sustainable models.
- - Strengthen government ownership, improve technical capacity, and establish sustainable financing and governance mechanisms.
Required Experience
- At least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in immunization supply chain management, health systems strengthening, health technology management, or biomedical engineering, with experience in low- and middle-income countries.
- Experience conducting health technology or maintenance system assessments.
- Experience supporting pilot implementation, capacity building, and technical assistance.
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and coordination.
- Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality technical documents.
- Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills.
Qualifications
- An advanced University Degree (Master’s degree) in Engineering, Public Health, Supply Chain, Business or Public.
- A Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.
