Overview
The Landscape Project Coordinator will support the District Collector and Landscape Project Management Unit in the implementation of a GEF-7 project focused on sustainable management and restoration of degraded landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordination and implementation of project activities.
- Coordinate with the multi-stakeholder Landscape Level Coordinating Committee.
- Assist in developing landscape specific annual work plans.
- Provide administration and operational support.
- Prepare project expenditure reports.
- Assist in preparation of documents, guidelines, and presentations.
- Facilitate data and information collection.
- Maintain financial records.
- Assist in managing vendor contracts and processing payments.
- Assist in preparation of legal documents for contracting and procurement.
- Coordinate and organize meetings, workshops, and trainings.
- Assist in collation and compilation of data and information.
- Interact with other state departments for convergence and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in providing inputs for timely submission of various project reports.
- Assist in providing inputs for progress against the approved workplan.
- Support in developing new proposals for resource mobilization.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Required Experience
- 3 years of required experience.
- 4 years of relevant experience.
- Field-level experience in implementing environmental projects at the block level in collaboration with communities.
- Proven expertise in operations and administration.
- Experience in Chhindwara district preferred.
- Experience of working with international organizations, NGOs/INGOs including the UN in implementation of projects with central ministries.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Development studies or in the related field.
