Overview
Provide UX/UI design and analytical support for the Human Rights Council (HRC) and Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Extranet Revamp Project, focusing on user-centered design concepts and prototypes for a Drupal-based platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level review and analysis of existing Extranet sites, identifying usability issues and supporting documentation of requirements.
- Support development of user-centered design concepts, creating wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma or equivalent tools.
- Design reusable layout components and page templates for Drupal implementation.
- Prepare design documentation, including rationale, component lists, and handoff notes, and support knowledge transfer.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in UX/UI design for complex digital platforms, preferably content-heavy or institutional websites.
- Strong proficiency in Figma (or comparable collaborative design tools).
- Demonstrated experience conducting site analysis, user research, and usability assessments.
- Familiarity with Drupal-based websites and/or designing for CMS-driven platforms is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and proactively, delivering high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
