Overview

To provide strategic leadership and direction on all Programme Funding matters across Save the Children, optimising the programme funding portfolio and driving continuous improvements in capabilities, funding practices, and donor partnerships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive funding analytics that provide actionable insights to drive programme funding decision-making and prioritisation globally.
  • Maintain a suite of analytical dashboards and bespoke support tools to enhance understanding and engagement across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and functional experts to produce and disseminate internal and external insights reports.
  • Ensure the effective integration of diverse data sources to produce accurate and reliable analytics for strategic planning and performance monitoring.
Required Experience
  • Experience in the field of data analytics or financial forecasting, preferably within the non-profit sector or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in using data analytics tools and creating dashboards/reports to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Significant experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and interacting with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience in roles involving significant interaction with programme funding and resource mobilisation specialists to effectively inform strategic planning.
  • Extensive experience in presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience - in international development, business administration, economics, marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional certification or training in programme management, programme funding or fundraising management would be advantageous.
  • Accredited membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
