Overview
The Project Operations Manager will provide operational support for the Eswatini Programme, ensuring seamless processes and high-quality implementation of project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit monthly reports on project progress and completion.
- Ensure successful implementation of ITC’s Eswatini project by meeting targets.
- Develop and implement an operations plan (MoUs, procurement, administration).
- Monitor progress of planned activities and take action to prevent delays.
- Contribute to the development of project work plans and targets.
- Monitor and coordinate the development of a project monitoring and evaluation plan.
- Review project reports for quality and assist in maintaining reporting systems.
- Coordinate and manage the local administrative plan.
- Prepare draft TORs for administrative/procurement services.
- Act as a focal point for inquiries from local partners.
- Represent ITC in UNCT meetings and report on progress.
- Coordinate timely publication of communication and visibility plans.
- Provide on-job training and awareness on procedures to project staff.
- Maintain the capacity development plan for project team members and partners.
- Build and maintain partnerships and networks.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in development projects.
- Experience establishing inter-relationships between international organizations and national governments, institutions, and private sector.
- Experience working with government entities managing donor funds is an asset.
- Experience working with MSMEs in Eswatini.
- Direct experience in managing project operations and team.
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Economics, business administration, management, or a related field.
