Overview
The intern will contribute to the daily live and on-demand streaming coverage of United Nations meetings and events through the UN Web TV platform. The candidate will be trained to use a cloud video platform for publishing videos and metadata.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the daily live and on-demand streaming coverage of United Nations meetings and events through the UN Web TV platform.
- Be trained to use a cloud video platform to upload videos along with relevant language metadata for publishing on the UN Web TV website.
- Assist with the live and on-demand streaming on Social Media accounts, including the UN Youtube channel, Facebook (UNWebTV) and Twitter (UNWebTV).
- Assist with other tasks.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- Be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent).
- Be computer literate in standard word processing and spreadsheets software applications.
- Have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
