Overview
The internship is in the Social Media Section of the Department of Global Communications, responsible for social media activities and integration of social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, compile, draft and edit basic information for social media content.
- Monitor and analyze statistics related to social media content.
- Gather social media content at special events.
- Assist in the creation of original content for social media platforms.
- Attend meetings as an observer.
- Manage meeting agendas and draft meeting notes.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or, enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme.
