Overview
National consultant to provide technical support in preventing harmful practices and violence against children by strengthening national and community capacity, and engaging children and youth organizations for advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support efforts to prevent harmful practices and violence against children.
- Strengthen national and community capacity.
- Assist MoWECP and BKKBN in improving family-based services and parenting programs.
- Engage children and youth organizations for advocacy.
- Mainstream violence prevention in education.
- Coordinate with relevant ministries.
- Contribute technical inputs to key documents.
- Advance policy discussions.
- Generate demand for child protection services.
- Reduce stigma against women and child survivors of violence.
- Strengthen capacity of service providers.
- Enhance coordination between community mechanisms and UPTD PPA and other child protection services.
- Improve case management and referral mechanisms.
- Build community trust.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of working experience in child protection, particularly on prevention of harmful practices and violence against children.
- Extensive technical and practical expertise on capacity building.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s in social work, psychology, development studies, gender studies
