Overview

Consultant role focused on the implementation of the Integrated Birth Registration Ecosystem, with key pillars including data interoperability, decentralization, and system strengthening.


Key Responsibilities

• Focus on three key pillars: Data Interoperability and Vital Reg Integration (Core Focus), Decentralization and State-Level Technical Assistance (30 States), and System Strengthening, Reporting and Capacity Building.

Required Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in birth registration, civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS), data systems, or related domains.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting the design, implementation, and integration of large-scale national data systems.
  • Prior experience working with UNICEF, the UN system, government agencies (NPC, NIMC, FMoH, NBS), or development partners is an asset.
Qualifications

• Bachelors in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Public Health Informatics, or a related field.
