Overview

The Partnerships Specialist will support the Afghanistan Country Office's fundraising targets and Resource Mobilization plan by assisting with funding proposals, grant management, and donor reporting. The role contributes to UNICEF Afghanistan's humanitarian and development objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of funding proposals, concept notes, briefing notes, internal and external analysis, and other materials to foster donor engagement.
  • Provide oversight, technical support, and guidance regarding proposal development and grant management.
  • Support the implementation of visibility and recognition plans to enhance UNICEF's role and ensure donor visibility/communication requirements are met.
  • Ensure timeliness and quality of donor reporting and other submissions, including gathering information, consolidation, editing, layout, and branding, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Required Experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of resource mobilization processes.
  • Experience working on proposals, reports, presentations, and talking points.
  • Hands-on experience in proposal development, donor reporting, and grant management processes.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Development studies, International Development, Law, Business Administration, Project/Programme Management, or another relevant technical field.
