Overview
The Education Specialist (Quality) provides technical, operational, and administrative support for education programmes and projects, contributing to their development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme development and planning through situation analysis, research, and goal setting.
- Manage, monitor, and deliver programme results by collaborating with colleagues and partners, suggesting solutions, and reporting on progress.
- Provide technical and operational support to counterparts and partners on UNICEF policies and best practices.
- Build and sustain partnerships with government and national stakeholders.
- Contribute to innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building by sharing lessons learned and applying best practices.
Required Experience
- A minimum of three (03) years of professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or research in education is required.
- Experience in the field of education programme management is an asset.
- Experience in emergency settings or developing countries is frequently required or considered a strong asset.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as asset.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Education, psychology, sociology or another relevant technical field.
