Overview
Design and facilitate inclusive stakeholder consultations with private sector actors to co-create evidence-based, gender-sensitive key messages for a national awareness campaign promoting TVET and strengthening employer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an inception report outlining methodology for stakeholder mapping and engagement, consultation design and facilitation approach, and a detailed work plan.
- Identify and map 80-100 private sector stakeholders across key economic sectors, ensuring representation of SMEs, large enterprises, startups, business associations, and diverse demographics.
- Organize and facilitate five participatory consultation workshops using interactive methodologies to explore perceptions of TVET, barriers to engagement, and opportunities for Work-Based Learning.
- Finalize a private sector messaging framework with at least five tailored key messages, supported by value propositions and communication channels.
- Prepare workshop reports and a final synthesis report including methodology, stakeholder analysis, key findings, messaging framework, and strategic recommendations.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, event facilitation, or communication campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience in developing communication related outputs, such as messaging frameworks, key messages, value propositions, campaign inputs, consultation reports, policy briefs, concept notes, or stakeholder engagement materials.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with private sector actors, business associations, chambers of commerce, sector representatives, employers, or comparable institutional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Qualifications
• Advanced University degree (Master or equivalent) in Communication, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or a closely related field.
