Overview

Provide technical and administrative support for the implementation of worker resource centres in Karnataka, engaging migrant workers and communities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work and engage migrant workers and targeted communities.
  • Support the establishment and operations of Mobile Worker Resource Center(s).
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IOM and the Implementing Partner (IP).
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Prepare regular evaluation reports, project updates, and briefing materials.
  • Conduct regular field visits to oversee service delivery and gather feedback.
  • Coordinate logistics for field activities.
  • Address operational issues in the field promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning and executing projects related to service delivery.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, communications, and evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Strengthen and diversify project outreach and impact.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to track key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Develop data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
  • At least THREE years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or SIX years of relevant professional experience with a High school diploma.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Solid understanding of management principles.
  • Experience in assessing monitoring improvement plan status and progress from labour and human rights assessments.
  • Experience in drafting regular status and progress report.
  • Experience working with Government counterparts, UN agencies and/or non-governmental organizations is considered an asset.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, Law, Sustainability or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
  • High school diploma in the above fields.
