Overview
Provide technical and administrative support for the implementation of worker resource centres in Karnataka, engaging migrant workers and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work and engage migrant workers and targeted communities.
- Support the establishment and operations of Mobile Worker Resource Center(s).
- Serve as the primary liaison between IOM and the Implementing Partner (IP).
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Prepare regular evaluation reports, project updates, and briefing materials.
- Conduct regular field visits to oversee service delivery and gather feedback.
- Coordinate logistics for field activities.
- Address operational issues in the field promptly.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assist in planning and executing projects related to service delivery.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, communications, and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Strengthen and diversify project outreach and impact.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to track key metrics and performance indicators.
- Develop data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
- At least THREE years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or SIX years of relevant professional experience with a High school diploma.
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Solid understanding of management principles.
- Experience in assessing monitoring improvement plan status and progress from labour and human rights assessments.
- Experience in drafting regular status and progress report.
- Experience working with Government counterparts, UN agencies and/or non-governmental organizations is considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, Law, Sustainability or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
- High school diploma in the above fields.
