Overview
Facilitate psycho-social support (PSS) group sessions and awareness sessions to promote mutual support, socialization, and positive coping strategies for displacement-affected populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate PSS group sessions to promote mutual support, socialization and positive coping strategies
- Support the designing and delivery of psychoeducational awareness sessions on psychosocial topics
- Collaborate with other service providers and make appropriate referrals and follow-up
- Foster community participation and engagement in psychosocial support activities
- Identify and support local resources for community-based psychosocial support
- Participate in capacity-building sessions
- Contribute to developing and updating a service mapping system
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Protection Manager
Required Experience
1 year of experience in a Protection related field.
Qualifications
• Higher education in psychology or social work
