Overview

This internship offers an opportunity to support staff learning and development initiatives, as well as talent acquisition activities within the Human Resources Services division.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support activities related to staff learning and development initiatives, including the Learning Hub, LMS-related activities, and related resources.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating learning and training materials, communications, and online content.
  • Support the organization and coordination of virtual and in-person group training activities.
  • Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing learning and training-related information and feedback.
  • Contribute to the preparation of learning resources, career development materials, presentations, reports, and other staff development content.
  • Support talent outreach and employer branding activities, including research, benchmarking, and preparation of related materials and communications.
  • Assist with activities related to online career fairs, webinars, and other recruitment outreach initiatives.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at attracting diverse and qualified candidate pools.
  • Participate in meetings, events, career fairs, and webinars, and assist with related logistical support, note-taking, follow-up activities.
  • Support HR communications, intranet content, user guides, and HR-related documentation.
  • Assist with HR digitalization, automation, AI-related initiatives, and process improvement initiatives and research related to HR policies and practices within the UN common system and other international organizations.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other HR-related materials.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • No prior professional experience is required.
  • Relevant professional experience or academic exposure to Human Resources is an asset.
Qualifications
  • The applicant must have completed at least two years of full-time study at a university or equivalent institution that will lead to the award of a degree in human resources management, business administration, social sciences, communications, marketing, law or related field.
  • Applications may be made up to two years after the completion of a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree.

Languages Required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of other official CTBTO languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is desirable.
