Overview
Provide reliable, safe, and efficient transportation services for project personnel, delivery of documents, and adherence to operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide driving and transportation services for authorized personnel, visitors, and project-related items.
- Plan and coordinate transportation schedules and routes.
- Ensure compliance with UNDP transport management policies, road safety regulations, security protocols, and local traffic laws.
- Maintain assigned vehicle(s) in proper condition, including regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Arrange timely servicing and repairs of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption records.
- Monitor and ensure the validity of vehicle-related documentation.
- Provide logistical and operational support for meetings, workshops, and other project events.
- Assist in procurement-related logistical processes.
- Support the distribution and transportation of project-related assets and materials.
- Ensure strict compliance with UNDP security procedures.
- Report any security concerns, incidents, accidents, or operational risks.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a driver with a safe driving record is required.
- Previous working experience with the UN, International Organizations, and Embassies is desired.
- Experience working in southern regions in Armenia is desired.
- Experience with administrative rules and regulations is desired.
- Experience in security issues is desired.
Qualifications
- High School certificate is required.
- Secondary Education with a valid driver's license is required.
