Overview
The Operations Analyst will assist with research, analytics, operational work, presentations, resource support, and visiting missions support for the World Bank Group Country Manager and country management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting industry and market research and assisting in IFC’s business development efforts in priority sectors.
- Analyzing financial statements and integrity of sponsors for potential IFC clients.
- Researching and extracting data on Mongolia and other countries in the East Asia and Pacific region.
- Supporting country team in development and presentation of country Strategies.
- Liaising and interacting effectively with a network of contacts.
- Advising project teams on the country context, IFC role, strategic fit, World Bank Group objectives, local market issues, pipeline and portfolio.
- Assisting with overall program management, planning and monitoring of deliverables.
- Portfolio monitoring and internal and external reporting.
- Providing support to the WBG country team and other development partners.
- Providing support for select visiting missions.
- Performing specific tasks as required by the World Bank Group Country Manager, Resident Representative, and their designated staff.
Required Experience
At least three years’ work experience in banking, consulting or another fast-paced, knowledge-based work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master’s degree in economics, finance, business, Business or similar qualifications.
