Overview
Invitation for bids for the construction and completion of Besni Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will be built and operated by Besni Municipality.
Key Responsibilities
- Construction and completion of Besni Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Treatment plant with A2O Process (Extended Aeration with sludge stabilization) for nitrogen and phosphorus removal.
- Design and construction period of 720 days, followed by 12 months for Defect Liability Period.
Required Experience
- Participation as contractor, Joint Venture partner, or Subcontractor in at least one (1) contract with a value of at least nine million Euro (€9,000,000.00), or two (2) contracts with a total value of at least thirteen million five hundred thousand Euro (€13,500,000.00).
- Contracts successfully and substantially completed between 1 January 2016 to the deadline for bid submission and similar to the proposed Works (construction or design and construction of wastewater treatment plant(s) or drinking water treatment plant(s)).
- Minimum experience in design, construction, installation and commissioning of a wastewater treatment plant or drinking water treatment plant in 1 (one) contract with an average flowrate of at least 5,500 m3/day or, in 2 (two) contracts with total average flowrate of at least 8,250 m3/day.
- Average of annual turnovers in construction works over the past five (5) financial years shall be a minimum of fifteen million Euro (€15,000,000.00) or equivalent.
- Financial resources to meet the cash-flow requirement of two million Euro (€2,000,000.00) and overall cash flow requirements for this contract and its current commitments.
