Overview
The Human Resource & Administration Officer provides support on Human Resources and Administration to ensure quality, value-adding, and consistent HR services and advice. The role also provides administration support to facilitate travel, accommodation, and other administrative services for guests and delegates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full circle recruitment process for Delegates and National Staff.
- Administer end-to-end contracting for all types of contracts.
- Manage the administration of social security and pension for national staff.
- Prepare payroll list and ensure timely remittance of taxes.
- Manage staff insurance and administer the organization’s benefits programs.
- Support managers in performance management activities and guide staff in cases of poor performance.
- Ensure compliance with National Staff regulation, organizational policies, and national labor laws.
- Ensure employee data is up to date in D365 and train staff on the system.
- Handle employee grievances, settle disputes, and enhance employee engagement.
- Provide welcome packs, manage immigration processes, and ensure timely renewal of permits and licenses.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years’ relevant professional HR practice.
- Experience of facilitating recruitment and on boarding processes.
- Experience working with governmental and international non-governmental organizations, authorities, and agencies.
- Experience of handling confidential information.
- Experience handling employee relations matters.
- Experience in preparing staff payroll.
- Experience in all employee circle management.
- Experience handling administration.
- Experience of working for the Red Cross and Red Crescent (Preferred)
Qualifications
- Relevant University degree field or in social sciences (Required)
- Professional qualification in HR and registered with a professional HR Body (Required)
- Post Graduate qualification in Human Resource Management is an added advantage. (Preferred)
