Overview

Provide senior-level analytical, synthesis, writing and packaging support to the Immunization Section, focusing on selected internal and external immunization engagements. The consultant will transform existing data and documentation into high-quality communication products for various audiences.


Key Responsibilities

• Transform existing data, documentation, application reviews, programme updates, survey and literature findings, and team inputs into high-quality briefs, slide decks, messages, reports, workshop outputs and other communication products for UNICEF management, UNICEF Regional and Country Offices, the Gavi Secretariat, donors and other partners.

Required Experience
  • At least eight years of progressively responsible professional experience in public health, immunization, health programme management, monitoring, evaluation and learning, strategic communications, donor/partner engagement, or a related field.
  • Experience working in immunization, including experience related to low- and/or lower-middle-income countries.
  • Experience developing analytical products, briefs, slide decks, reports or communication packages for senior management, donors, global health partners and/or technical audiences.
Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master's) in public health, epidemiology or biostatics, health economics, international health relations, monitoring/evaluation, or another relevant field.

• Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
• Working knowledge of French, Spanish or another UN language is a strong asset.
