Overview
Consultant to coordinate migration-related activities under the GlPP, ensuring alignment with GRBMP strategy and priorities. The role aims to ensure migration efforts are technically robust, strategically coherent, and responsive to emerging needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow up on GTPP-related activities.
- Establish a Technical Working Group for GTPP countries.
- Produce an impact and case-study report for HSPs and GTPP countries.
- Support the Humanitarian Service Points (HSPs) global mapping.
- Revise and upload new, updated modules onto the HSP Digital Toolkit.
- Support the coordination of the Global Route-Based Migration Programme (GRBMP).
- Provide quarterly internal updates of the GRBMP and newsletters.
- Update the Funding Tracker Matrix for the GRBMP.
- Support the launch and dissemination of the new programmatic document of the GRBMP.
- Support regions in elaborating regional workplans for 2026.
- Maintain and update the GRBMP Global Dashboard.
- Initiate and manage data collection for the 2025 Annual Report.
- Develop and roll out a global communication and dissemination plan.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in the humanitarian or development sector with a global perspective.
- Experience working within the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.
- Experience in narrative reporting.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in a relevant field related to migration, displacement, humanitarian action, international relations, social policy or related technical discipline.
- Preferred: Basic Delegates Training Course (BTC), WORC, IMPACT or equivalent knowledge.
