Overview
Provide advanced technical, operational, administrative, and coordination support for UNODC projects in Cabo Verde, contributing to planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical and operational support to project implementation.
- Ensure alignment with approved workplans, timelines, and expected results.
- Support planning and prioritization of project activities.
- Collect, compile, and analyze project data, outputs, and indicators.
- Maintain updated monitoring systems and tracking tools.
- Contribute to results-based management processes.
- Prepare draft narrative and financial reporting inputs.
- Consolidate information from implementing partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports.
- Ensure compliance with UNODC rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Maintain project documentation and support audit processes.
- Coordinate with national counterparts, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and coordination activities.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and knowledge products.
- Support internal quality assurance and risk identification processes.
Required Experience
- At least 7 years relevant experience in project support, coordination, monitoring, and reporting required.
- Experience related to crime prevention, criminal justice, governance, or law enforcement is required.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing technical documentation and reports is required.
- Strong understanding of administrative, financial, and compliance processes is required.
- Experience coordinating with national institutions and international partners is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A first-level university degree or advanced university degree in a relevant field is an asset.
