Overview

Provide project support for climate-resilient and inclusive social protection initiatives, focusing on research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct literature and background research for national and regional knowledge products.
  • Collate case studies on social protection and climate change.
  • Support data analysis and prepare household data sets.
  • Support outreach, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Coordinate logistical and substantive preparations for national consultations and meetings.
  • Facilitate organization of national and regional consultations and workshops.
  • Support preparation of meeting documentation and communication materials.
  • Maintain project stakeholder databases.
  • Liaise with national and regional counterparts.
  • Support communication and messaging of project achievements.
  • Provide ad hoc support for project implementation.
Required Experience
  • Academic or professional experience on social protection required.
  • Previous research experience, especially with international organizations, is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in research, data analysis and coordination are required.
  • Experience working in international organisation is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, social development, social administration or labour studies.
  • Proficiency with statistical software programmes such as Stata or R for data analysis is required.
