Overview
Provide project support for climate-resilient and inclusive social protection initiatives, focusing on research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature and background research for national and regional knowledge products.
- Collate case studies on social protection and climate change.
- Support data analysis and prepare household data sets.
- Support outreach, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Coordinate logistical and substantive preparations for national consultations and meetings.
- Facilitate organization of national and regional consultations and workshops.
- Support preparation of meeting documentation and communication materials.
- Maintain project stakeholder databases.
- Liaise with national and regional counterparts.
- Support communication and messaging of project achievements.
- Provide ad hoc support for project implementation.
Required Experience
- Academic or professional experience on social protection required.
- Previous research experience, especially with international organizations, is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in research, data analysis and coordination are required.
- Experience working in international organisation is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, social development, social administration or labour studies.
- Proficiency with statistical software programmes such as Stata or R for data analysis is required.
