Overview

To support the coordination and delivery of the Changwon Initiative Pavilion at COP17, including the preparation and organization of the Pavilion programme and logistics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Event planning and coordination, including logistics for Pavilion set-up and operation, and development of a Pavilion programme.
  • On-site coordination and delivery, including drafting run-of-show schedules, briefing speakers, and overseeing Pavilion activities.
  • Preparation of a comprehensive post-event report on the Pavilion.
Required Experience
  • Minimum seven years of work experience in communication, event coordination, public relations or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing events in United Nations settings, preferably Conference of Parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams, including virtually.
Qualifications

• Master’s degree in communications, international relations, political science or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Languages Required
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Languages Preferred
• Working knowledge of other UN Official languages and Korean would be an asset.
Contract Duration
2.5 months between 1 July to 15 September 2026.
