Overview

The Social Policy Officer will support system design, interoperability, and analytical foundations for coordinated social assistance delivery, strengthening linkages between programme-level delivery systems and system-level coordination mechanisms.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in social protection systems, social registry development, targeting, MIS, or related fields. Demonstrated experience supporting government-led systems, including social registries, national safety nets, or large-scale social assistance programmes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s university degree in Information Systems / Information Management, Data Science / Statistics, Computer Science (with focus on data systems or MIS).

Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (French, Spanish or Russian) is an asset. Prior experience with UNICEF, the UN system, or international development partners is an advantage. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
